Seasonal content has a quality ordinary content does not: it comes back. A good monsoon video gets found again next June with no extra work, and again the year after. Very little else you make has that property.
In Gujarat the monsoon changes almost every category — food, travel, health, vehicles, property, farming — and most accounts ignore it entirely until it is already raining.
Post before the rain, not during it
The mistake is timing. People search for waterproofing in May, not in July when the ceiling is already leaking. Anything preventative must go out four to six weeks before the season.
Once the rain has started, the searches change to repair and coping, which is a different set of videos.
Ideas by category
- Home: terrace waterproofing, seepage, damp cupboards, what to do about mould.
- Vehicle: brakes, tyres, wipers, and what actually happens if water enters an engine.
- Health: mosquito prevention, water storage, and food that spoils faster than people expect.
- Food business: what your kitchen changes during the rains, which reassures customers.
- Travel: which weekend destinations are genuinely good in heavy rain and which are dangerous.
- Farming: sowing windows, drainage, and what a delayed monsoon means for a specific crop.
- Shops: a stock list of what sells out in the first week of heavy rain.
Build the library once
Write ten monsoon videos in one sitting and schedule them across the season. Next year you re-post the ones that worked, update anything that has changed, and the season costs you almost nothing.
Because there is no filming step, ten scripts is genuinely one afternoon of work rather than a week of shooting.
